BERRIEN COUNTY REPUBLICAN PARTY
ANNOUNCES 2010 LINCOLN DAY PLANS
Saint Joseph, Michigan, February 10, 2010: The Berrien County Republican
Party will host its annual Lincoln Day Dinner on Saturday evening, March 13, 2010.
The dinner will be held at the Niles Elks Lodge, at 1322 Canal Street in Niles. A social
hour will begin at 6:00 p.m., with dinner at 7:00 p.m.
The Party has extended invitations to attend and speak at the dinner to candidates for
the 2010 Republican nomination for Michigan’s next governor, including Oakland
County Sheriff Mike Bouchard, Attorney General Mike Cox, State Senator Tom
George, U.S. Congressman Pete Hoekstra, Huron County Commissioner Tim Rujan,
and businessman Rick Snyder. Congressman Hoekstra and Senator Tom George have both confirmed attendance. The Republican Party’s nominees for Michigan’s next
governor, attorney general, and secretary of state will be determined in the primary
election scheduled for August 3.

“2010 is vitally important for the citizens of Michigan, as we go to the polls to select
new holders of our top three executive offices,” said Mike Garey, chairman of the
Berrien County Republican Party. “We seek to bring Republican candidates to
Berrien County so that the voters can meet them and hear their plans to fix
Michigan.”
